Desmond Patrick Curran

Desmond primarily practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance-related matters and construction-related matters. He offers his clients a wealth of experience in a wide variety of matters including high-profile cases such as: Waste Management v. ISCIC (environmental coverage action); Buckley, Cruz, Hernandez v. County of Du Page, et. al. (consolidated actions stemming from the Jeanine Nicarico murder investigation); and Comdisco v. St. Paul Fire and Marine (litigation stemming from the IBM-Comdisco lawsuits). Desmond also has experience in handling environmental matters, in assisting clients with a variety of regulatory compliance issues and actions, in commercial and residential real estate, and in handling a variety of business disputes, including mechanic’s lien claims.
